The Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) is a university-level Common Entrance Exam conducted by VIT University once in a year to channelise the admission to UG engineering courses at one of the four VIT campuses- VIT-AP, VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, and VIT Bhopal. Students are selected for programs offered by VIT university based on merit list and seat availability. VIT university will release the VITEEE 2021 application form in the fourth week of September 2021 to provide admission in various B.Tech programmes.

VITEEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for the successful acceptance of the application form by the concerned authority of VIT. The eligibility criteria for VITEEE 2021 is mentioned below.

Nationality: Indian nationals/PIO/NRI/OCI holder

Age Limit: Born on/after July 1, 1998

Qualifying Examination: An applicant must have either finished or are appearing for below-mentioned examinations:

Class 10+2 from State Board/CBSE/ICSE, New Delhi.

Intermediate or Class 12th or two-year Pre-University Exam organised by a recognized University or Board. 

General Certificate Education (GCE) exam (Cambridge/London/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced/ A level.

High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.

Note: 

Students who have finished their studies in Full time, Regular and Formal Education are only eligible to apply for VITEEE 2021. 

VIT norms certify the eligibility of NIOS’ board candidates provided that they need to present the Migration Cum Transfer Certificate for while participating in VITEEE 2021 counselling or joining the campus.

%age Criteria:

60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM/PCB) in Class 12/Intermediate

50% for the candidates appearing from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North-Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Sikkim and Tripura.

Subject Criteria

Applicants with Physics, Chemistry & Maths in the qualifying exam certifies the eligibility for all B.Tech Degree Programs.

Applicants with Physics, Chemistry & Biology in the qualifying exam certifies the eligibility only for B.Tech Bio Stream Programs such as Biotechnology, Bio-engineering, CSE in Bioinformatics as specialisation, ECE in Biomedical Engineering programmes as specialisation.

Note: Registration for Mathematics as a bridge program is compulsory after joining.

VITEEE 2021: Exam Pattern

Mode of Exam: Exam will be conducted through online mode as a CBT.

Online Form Guidelines

Application forms can be filed online or offline in OMR format. Steps to fill VITEEE 2021 Application Form online are as follows:

Step 1: Registration by entering all the mandatory & important details

Step 2: Password Confirmation by logging in using a password sent by the VIT University on your registered phone no. and mail id.

Step 3: VITEEE Online Application Form Submission after entering all the required details. Ensure to keep the application number, generated after submission, safe for future uses.

Step 4: Payment of Application Fee of INR 1150/- (inclusive of GST) online using Net-banking / Credit / Debit card.

Note: 

INR 1150/- is an application fee for general category and online form. 

The application fee for the offline form is INR 1200/- and for NRI applicants is 50USD (to be paid via online mode).

Step 5: Signature & Photo Upload

Size for photograph image:10 KB to 200 KB

Dimension for Photograph image: 3.5 CM X 4.5 CM.

Size for Signature image: 10 KB to 200 KB

Dimension for Signature image: 3.5 CM X 1.5 CM.

Note: Selfies are not acceptable.

Step 6: Payment confirmation

Wait for a minimum of 24 hours for the payment confirmation. In the case of non-debit, you can retry from the same registered email id.

Note: There is no need to send any hardcopy of the VITEEE application form 2021 after the successful registration.

Step 7: Book VITEEE 2021 slots and wait for the release of Admit Cards

VIT will release the VITEEE 2021 Admit Cards online, downloadable from the official website. Candidates with a successful slots booking will only be able to download the VITEEE 2021 admit card using their application number and Online Test Booking password. 

e-admit cards will also be sent on the registered mail IDs of the candidates. 

Report to the preferred test centre with the e-Admit card, photocopy of the application form and one photo identification proof - Photo ID card of college or school, Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter 

ID card or Driving License.

VITEEE 2021 Application Process

Candidates who duly meet the eligibility criteria can apply for VITEEE 2021 either in online or offline mode as per their convenience. The online forms for VITEEE 2021 will be made available by the end of February 2021. For the online filling and submission of the VITEEE 2021 application form, the interested students will have to visit the official website- vit.ac.in. and for the offline filling, the candidate will need to collect the application forms from VIT campuses.

VITEEE Registration 2021 – Online Mode

The online application forms will be available on the VIT university’s official website. For the Online registration, check the following steps:

Complete the registration process and confirm the application number and password via valid email ID and password. 

Fill the VITEEE 2021 Application form.

VITEEE Registration 2021 – Offline Mode

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can fill the application form in offline mode also by collecting the application form from the VIT campuses and sending it to the  University by registered post or speed post after filling.

VITEEE 2021: Slot Booking and Exam Centers

VITEEE 2021 exam will be conducted for several days in different slots and the candidate gets a choice to book a slot to take the examination according to his/her convenience. The candidate can complete the slot booking using the OTBS (Online Test Booking System). The date for the slotting book will be notified by the VIT, similarly, the candidate will get different options to select the VITEEE 2021 exam centers.

Steps to book the exam center and exam-slot: 

Step1: Go to the official website – vit.ac.in and Click on “Book a seat”

Step 2: Choose the preferred state and centre/city for the exam.

Step 3: Select the test center and time-slot according to your convenience.

Step 4: Click on Book to confirm the exam-slot booking.

VITEEE 2021 Cutoff

The closing rank above which the students will be considered as qualified for admission to VIT campuses will be announced as a cutoff for the VITEEE 2021. The university will use the equating technique and give the percentile rank to the applicants based on their scores in the exam. The closing ranks for the different specializations of engineering will be announced by VIT University for all four VIT campuses. 

VITEEE 2021 Result and Counselling

VITEEE Result 2021 will be announced online. The result will also showcase the Applicant’s Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Application Number along with the rank secured by the applicant. 

The VIT University will conduct the VITEEE 2021 counselling for the qualified candidates after the declaration of result. The VITEEE counselling 2021 will be organised offline in dual rounds. VIT conducts counselling /seat allocation process based on the ranks acquired by candidates in the exam.

Steps to check the VITEEE 2021 Results:

Step-1: Go to the official website of VITEEE- https://viteee.vit.ac.in/ and click on the link “Get Result”.

Step-2: You will be redirected to a new page→ Log in to your account. 

Step-3: Enter your VITEEE 2021 Application number, DOB and Verification Code.

Step-4: Click on the “submit” button then VITEEE 2021 result will be displayed→ Click on “Download” and take a print out of it for future references.

IGNOU 2020 TEE Answer Booklets & Re-evaluation Now Allowed to Applicants

Students participated in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) June 2020 TEE, and December 2019 TEE exam will now be allowed to apply for the xerox copies of answer booklets. Indira Gandhi National Open University has decided to allow the students for the revaluation and re totalling of marks, they scored in these examinations.

The results of IGNOU June 2020 TEE were announced on October 1. With the upcoming facility of issuance of the photocopy of answer booklets, the students who were dissatisfied with their results can apply for the revaluation of marks scored in the term-end examinations and the photocopies of IGNOU TEE answer sheets. 

The application for the same will have to be made online on the official website of the university. Students simply need to go to the IGNOU website and click apply on the designated link. After which, a few details need to be filled, followed by the payment of the application fee and submission of the application form. 

It must be noted that the applications for revaluation and photocopies of IGNOU December 2019 TEE and IGNOU June 2020 TEE of exams comprising MCQ type questions are disallowed. 

According to the statement in the IGNOU revaluation window,  “Reevaluation and copy of Answerscripts is not available for the Following Exam for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type and conducted on OMR sheets.”

Students can apply for and get the photocopies of the answer booklets of IGNOU June TEE and IGNOU December TEE examinations if the answer copy has not been handled for Re-evaluation. Students can either first make an application for the copy of Answer Sheet, followed by an application for Re-evaluation or go for both simultaneously.

Education expenses of NEET topper Akansha Singh will be paid by Uttar Pradesh Government. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made an announcement about the disbursement of her graduation expenses. These expenses will include the expenditure of food and lodging during all the academic levels of her graduation.

Akansha Singh lives in Kushinagar district of UP and has achieved 100% score in NEET 2020 exam.  

Though Akansha was given second rank in the examination, she has been declared as top-ranked along with Soyeb Aftab who is native of Odisha state. On the direction of CM Yogi Adityanath, a letter is to be sent by the chief secretary of UP state, to the authorities concerned for the declaration of NEET 2020 ranks to declare Akansha Singh and Soyeb Aftab, both as the first rankers of NEET 2020 examination as they both have scored 720 marks out of maximum score of 720. 

Besides, personal wishes are sent from UP CM to the family members and parents of AKansha Singh, laurelled the top- scorer as an ideal for all the girls. CM Yogi Adityanath appreciated the hard -work she has made and the high perseverance she has maintained throughout her preparation. 

On the other side, Shoyeb Aftab has also created a history with a full score of 720/720 and All India Rank of 1. He is the first-ever candidate to score 100% in NEET examination. From Odisha state also, he is the first student to Top NEET. With this high score, he hopes to get admission in AIIMS New Delhi. 

NEET 2020 comprises a sum of 180 MCQ type questions for a maximum of 720 marks. Qualified candidates who have scored at least or more than NEET 2020 cut-off are considered eligible to participate in the counselling process of NEET 2020. This implies that the candidates with scores more than NTA NEET 2020 cut-off will be eligible for enrollment to state-quota seats India quota (AIQ) seats through NEET 2020 counselling. The NEET 2020 cutoff for students who belong to General Category is 147. The highest number of students who have qualified NEET 2020 are from Uttar Pradesh followed by Maharashtra.

Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association, KPPGCA has released the admit card for KMAT 2020 for the eligible candidates who applied for the examination by filling the application form and paying the prescribed application fee. The admit card has been released via online mode on the official website of KPPGCA on 27th October 2020. 

Successful candidates need to download their admit card from the official website i.e. kmatindia.com. using their login credentials.

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2020 is an entrance examination that will be conducted by KPPGCA (Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association) to offer enrollment to the qualified candidates in 189+ AICTE or University accredited Management Schools established in Bangalore and Karnataka. This year, the examination will be conducted on 29th October 2020 for admission to management institutes in the state.

According to an official statement by Raghu Sharma, Rajasthan Health Minister, approval for the additional seats in MBBS in Rajasthan has been granted. 230 additional seats have been green signalled for the MBBS programmes at four medical schools in the state. 50 additional seats will be given to the medical schools in Udaipur and Ajmer. As far as Barmer Medical College is concerned, there will be an increment of 30 seats this year. 

In comparison to last year when there was a total increment of 550 seats, seats added this year are lower. However, if taken together, the total addition in MBBS seats in the last two years reaches 880 in Rajasthan, thereby making a sum of 2830 total MBBS seats in Rajasthan, today. 

The initiation of Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar has also received approval by the National Medical Science Commission. The Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar will be started in the session 2020-21. 

Sikar is a native district and approval of a medical college in Sikar was great news for Govind Singh Dotasara, Congress State President, who expressed extreme joy through a tweet over the approval.

"The much-awaited Sikar Medical College has received the approval of the National Medical Science Commission. It is a result of the strong will power of the Congress government of the state that the Sikar people have got their right, their medical college," a tweet by Mr Dotasara.

The news highlights the commencement of first round of NEET 2020 Counselling from Tomorrow

The first round of the NEET 2020 Counselling will start from 27th of October 2020 by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The first round of seat allotment under this process will commence from tomorrow. The counselling process will be conducted only for those candidates who have qualified the NEET 2020 exam. Unqualified aspirants will not be able to take part in the same. However, the registration is mandatory for the eligible candidates to participate in the counselling. 

Registration for the first round of seat allotment needs to be done on the official website of MCC - mcc.nic.in. and will remain open till 2nd November 2020 before 5 pm. It must be noted that registration must be done before the deadlines otherwise the participation in the seat allotment process is prohibited. 

NEET 2020 registration process seeks the names of the courses and colleges preferred by the candidates that means the candidates will have to fill in their choices about the college and the course during the registration process. However, the candidates will be allowed to fill in their preference within a specific course of time i.e. from 28th October 2020 to 2nd November 2020, after that the preferences will be frozen. 

Followed by the 2nd round of seat allotment, details about which will be notified very soon, the 1st round will be conducted on 3rd and 4th November and the results of the same will be declared on 5th November 2020. Here is the process to register for the counselling process of NEET 2020:

Step 1: Go to the official website of MCC i.e. mcc.nic.in.

Step 2: Find and click on the ‘UG Medical Counselling’ link available on the homepage.

Step 3: Click on ‘New Registration’.

Step 4: Save your new login ID and password that will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Click on ‘Candidate Login’ and enter your new login credentials.

Step 6: Enter all the details asked.

Step 7: You will get a registration slip after filling all the details. 

Step 8: Make a payment of the registration fee. 

The registration fee needs to be paid before the deadline and the due date for the payment of the registration fee for NEET 2020 Counselling's first round is 2nd November 2020.
