Indian Army TES 2020 Eligibility Guidelines

Nationality: An applicant must either be: (i) An Indian citizen or (ii) A subject of Bhutan, or (iii) A subject of Nepal, or (iv) a Tibetan refugee who reached over to India before the 01st of July 1962 with the purpose of lastingly settling in India or (v) applicant must be of Indian origin who has moved from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the purpose of enduringly settling in India.

According to the law an applicant belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above, shall be a person in whose favor a certification of eligibility declared by Govt of India is required, may be exposed to the examination conditionally subject to the required certificate being given to him by the Indian Govt. before the announcement of the result by SSB/joining the practice.

 Age Bar

An applicant must not be less than 16½ years and over 19½ years on the first day of the month in which the progression is commencing i.e. the applicant should not be born before 02nd January 2001 and not after 01st January 2004 (both days are included)

The date of birth affirmed by the office is that recorded in the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate or in the document approved by an Indian University as similar to Matriculation or in an infusion from a Register of Matriculates advanced by a University which extracts must be approved by the proper administration of the University or in the Higher Secondary or a similar examination document.

No other record associating to age will be accepted

The phrase Matriculation/ Higher Secondary Exam document in this section of the instruction includes the alternative document quoted above

 Educational Criteria

Only those applicants who have qualified 10+2 Examination or its similar with an at least aggregate of 70% score in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from acknowledged education boards are qualified to appear for this entry.

Eligibility provision for computing PCM % of different State/central boards will rely on the scores achieved in Class XII only.

TES 2020 Examination Selection Method

Shortlisting of Applications.

Combined HQ of MoD (Army) keeps the power to shortlist applications backed on cut off percentage as determined. After the selection of candidates, the Centre allocation will be suggested to the applicant online. After the allocation of Selection Centre, applicants will have to sign up to the online platform and choose their SSB schedules on a first come first serve basis.

Only chosen eligible applicants based on the cutoff score will reach SSB at one of the Selection Centres i.e, Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bengaluru (Karnataka) or Kapurthala (Punjab) by Psychologist, Group Testing Officer and Interviewing Officer. A call letter for SSB interview will be declared by respective Selection Centres on the applicant’s provided e-mail ID and SMS only. Distribution of Selection Centre is at the responsibility of Directorate General of Recruiting, Integrated Headquarters of MoD (Army), and NO call for changes will be heard in this respect.

Two-Stage Selection Method

Applicants will be put through two-stage selection methods. Those who complete Stage I will go to Stage II. Those who lose in Stage I will be returned on the very day. Term of SSB interview is five days and information of the same is accessible at the formal website of Directorate General of Recruiting. This will be continued by a medical test for the candidates who get confirmed after Stage II.

The applicant will not have any problem in the case of final choice, on the apportionment of any Arm/Service in the case of the organization

 Medical Exam

The applicants must be in excellent physical and mental well-being and free from any disease/incapacity which is expected to conflict with the effective execution of duties.

There should be no sign of weak structure, bodily imperfections or skinny

The least acceptable height is 157.5 ems. For Gorkhas and people relating to hills of the North-Eastern areas of India, Garhwal, and Kumaon, the least acceptable height will be 5 ems less. In the case of applicants from Lakshadweep, the minimum satisfactory height can be degraded by 2 ems.

TES 2020: 5-years Training Period

Main Military Training. 1 year (Officer Training Academy Gaya)

Main Technical Training. (i) Phase-I (pre-commission Training): 3 Years (CME Pune or MCTE Mhow or MCEME Secunderabad), (ii) Phase-II (Post Commission Training): 1 year at CME Pune or MCTE Mhow or MCEME Secunderabad.

Indian Army TES 2020 - Application Method

The application will only be admitted online. To do so the applicant needs to click on the 'online application' button on website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in

Candidates must enter their particulars in the online form. Terms and conditions connected to the form must be read carefully, prior to submitting the form.

A candidate is allowed to make changes data-filled inaccurately in online form till the closing of online forms. The applicant must 'submit' his form each time he initiates his application for editing. No additions to the online application will be allowed thereafter and no representation in this respect will be hosted.

After properly submitting the application the candidate will get a notification in the form of a dialog box of having offered the form. Print out of the form with a Roll number will be given to the applicant 30 mins after finishing the online applications. Applicants are expected to print two copies of the form with Roll Number formed by the system. One xerox of the print out form duly self-attested by the applicant will be taken to the selection center for the SSB 

Interview. Following documents need to be presented along with the Application Form:

  • Class 10th record /mark sheet in the exhibiting showing DOB.
  • Class 12th record /mark sheet in the original form.
  • Original ID proof.
  • Xerox of the printout of the online form is to be maintained by the applicant for his reference. There is no obligation to send any hard copy of the form printout of the Directorate General of Recruiting.
  • Two self-attested photocopies of the document stated at serial (c) above will be submitted at the time of SSB Interview and genuine will be returned after confirmation at the SSB itself.
  • 20 copies of self-attested PP size photos will also be taken along with the Application Form.


Candidates must present only one form. Receipt of multiple applications from the same applicant will appear in cancellation of candidature.

Any alteration in your postal place after sending of the application must be informed by post quoting your Roll No. name and program opted for.

Students participated in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) June 2020 TEE, and December 2019 TEE exam will now be allowed to apply for the xerox copies of answer booklets. Indira Gandhi National Open University has decided to allow the students for the revaluation and re totalling of marks, they scored in these examinations.

The results of IGNOU June 2020 TEE were announced on October 1. With the upcoming facility of issuance of the photocopy of answer booklets, the students who were dissatisfied with their results can apply for the revaluation of marks scored in the term-end examinations and the photocopies of IGNOU TEE answer sheets. 

The application for the same will have to be made online on the official website of the university. Students simply need to go to the IGNOU website and click apply on the designated link. After which, a few details need to be filled, followed by the payment of the application fee and submission of the application form. 

It must be noted that the applications for revaluation and photocopies of IGNOU December 2019 TEE and IGNOU June 2020 TEE of exams comprising MCQ type questions are disallowed. 

According to the statement in the IGNOU revaluation window,  “Reevaluation and copy of Answerscripts is not available for the Following Exam for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type and conducted on OMR sheets.”

Students can apply for and get the photocopies of the answer booklets of IGNOU June TEE and IGNOU December TEE examinations if the answer copy has not been handled for Re-evaluation. Students can either first make an application for the copy of Answer Sheet, followed by an application for Re-evaluation or go for both simultaneously.

Education expenses of NEET topper Akansha Singh will be paid by Uttar Pradesh Government. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made an announcement about the disbursement of her graduation expenses. These expenses will include the expenditure of food and lodging during all the academic levels of her graduation.

Akansha Singh lives in Kushinagar district of UP and has achieved 100% score in NEET 2020 exam.  

Though Akansha was given second rank in the examination, she has been declared as top-ranked along with Soyeb Aftab who is native of Odisha state. On the direction of CM Yogi Adityanath, a letter is to be sent by the chief secretary of UP state, to the authorities concerned for the declaration of NEET 2020 ranks to declare Akansha Singh and Soyeb Aftab, both as the first rankers of NEET 2020 examination as they both have scored 720 marks out of maximum score of 720. 

Besides, personal wishes are sent from UP CM to the family members and parents of AKansha Singh, laurelled the top- scorer as an ideal for all the girls. CM Yogi Adityanath appreciated the hard -work she has made and the high perseverance she has maintained throughout her preparation. 

On the other side, Shoyeb Aftab has also created a history with a full score of 720/720 and All India Rank of 1. He is the first-ever candidate to score 100% in NEET examination. From Odisha state also, he is the first student to Top NEET. With this high score, he hopes to get admission in AIIMS New Delhi. 

NEET 2020 comprises a sum of 180 MCQ type questions for a maximum of 720 marks. Qualified candidates who have scored at least or more than NEET 2020 cut-off are considered eligible to participate in the counselling process of NEET 2020. This implies that the candidates with scores more than NTA NEET 2020 cut-off will be eligible for enrollment to state-quota seats India quota (AIQ) seats through NEET 2020 counselling. The NEET 2020 cutoff for students who belong to General Category is 147. The highest number of students who have qualified NEET 2020 are from Uttar Pradesh followed by Maharashtra.

Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association, KPPGCA has released the admit card for KMAT 2020 for the eligible candidates who applied for the examination by filling the application form and paying the prescribed application fee. The admit card has been released via online mode on the official website of KPPGCA on 27th October 2020. 

Successful candidates need to download their admit card from the official website i.e. kmatindia.com. using their login credentials.

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2020 is an entrance examination that will be conducted by KPPGCA (Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association) to offer enrollment to the qualified candidates in 189+ AICTE or University accredited Management Schools established in Bangalore and Karnataka. This year, the examination will be conducted on 29th October 2020 for admission to management institutes in the state.

According to an official statement by Raghu Sharma, Rajasthan Health Minister, approval for the additional seats in MBBS in Rajasthan has been granted. 230 additional seats have been green signalled for the MBBS programmes at four medical schools in the state. 50 additional seats will be given to the medical schools in Udaipur and Ajmer. As far as Barmer Medical College is concerned, there will be an increment of 30 seats this year. 

In comparison to last year when there was a total increment of 550 seats, seats added this year are lower. However, if taken together, the total addition in MBBS seats in the last two years reaches 880 in Rajasthan, thereby making a sum of 2830 total MBBS seats in Rajasthan, today. 

The initiation of Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar has also received approval by the National Medical Science Commission. The Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar will be started in the session 2020-21. 

Sikar is a native district and approval of a medical college in Sikar was great news for Govind Singh Dotasara, Congress State President, who expressed extreme joy through a tweet over the approval.

"The much-awaited Sikar Medical College has received the approval of the National Medical Science Commission. It is a result of the strong will power of the Congress government of the state that the Sikar people have got their right, their medical college," a tweet by Mr Dotasara.

The first round of the NEET 2020 Counselling will start from 27th of October 2020 by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The first round of seat allotment under this process will commence from tomorrow. The counselling process will be conducted only for those candidates who have qualified the NEET 2020 exam. Unqualified aspirants will not be able to take part in the same. However, the registration is mandatory for the eligible candidates to participate in the counselling. 

Registration for the first round of seat allotment needs to be done on the official website of MCC - mcc.nic.in. and will remain open till 2nd November 2020 before 5 pm. It must be noted that registration must be done before the deadlines otherwise the participation in the seat allotment process is prohibited. 

NEET 2020 registration process seeks the names of the courses and colleges preferred by the candidates that means the candidates will have to fill in their choices about the college and the course during the registration process. However, the candidates will be allowed to fill in their preference within a specific course of time i.e. from 28th October 2020 to 2nd November 2020, after that the preferences will be frozen. 

Followed by the 2nd round of seat allotment, details about which will be notified very soon, the 1st round will be conducted on 3rd and 4th November and the results of the same will be declared on 5th November 2020. Here is the process to register for the counselling process of NEET 2020:

Step 1: Go to the official website of MCC i.e. mcc.nic.in.

Step 2: Find and click on the ‘UG Medical Counselling’ link available on the homepage.

Step 3: Click on ‘New Registration’.

Step 4: Save your new login ID and password that will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Click on ‘Candidate Login’ and enter your new login credentials.

Step 6: Enter all the details asked.

Step 7: You will get a registration slip after filling all the details. 

Step 8: Make a payment of the registration fee. 

The registration fee needs to be paid before the deadline and the due date for the payment of the registration fee for NEET 2020 Counselling's first round is 2nd November 2020.
