About JEMAT 2021 

JEMAT is a state-level test that is administered by the Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal to enrol the candidates in the postgraduate courses of MBA and PGDM..

The Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal conducts the Joint Entrance Management Aptitude test on the behalf of the government to offer admission in more than 44 government and various private colleges which accept the JEMAT 2021 examination results for admission in MBA courses. The exam takes place only once a year mostly in the month of June.

Eligibility Criteria for JEMAT 2021 

  • There is no age limit to apply for admissions in JEMAT 2021 examination.  
  • Candidates must be a graduate with a bachelor's degree or even a master’s degree from a recognized educational institution, where he/she should have scored at least 50% aggregate marks. However, in the case of an SC/ST applicant, the minimum aggregate marks requirement is 45%. 
  • Candidates who do not belong from the Nationality of India, in case of a student of Nepal and Bhutan can apply for the JEMAT 2021 entrance test but first they need to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) that is signed by the High Commission.  
  • Candidates who are an NRI need to submit their nationality certificate to apply for the JEMAT 2021. 
  • There is no limit on the number of attempts for the test, a candidate can apply how many ever times he wants.

JEMAT 2021: Admission Process

Step1: Apply Online 

Applicants need to apply for the JEMAT 2021 exam online, by filling out the admissions form thoroughly and attaching all the necessary documents alongside very carefully.  

Step2: Pay the Application Fee 

There is an admission fee that needs to be paid, by each applicant through an online transaction, and once the fee is paid, no correction is permissible in the application form. 

The applicants should remember to download and print the application form and application fee receipt with them carefully. 

Step3: Download the Admit Card

Every applicant who has successfully registered will have to download their admit cards that will be released on the institute website using their Application ID. 

Step4: Choose the Exam Centre

Applicants must choose their examination centers, there are centers located in 23 parts of India out of which the applicants must choose one most favorable to them.  

Step5: Appear for the Exam

Taking the admit card along with themselves the applicants will have to appear for the JEMAT 2021 examination at the selected exam center.  

Step6: Check the Result

Wait for the examination results to be released on the institute’s website and applicants should check for their scorecard to see their examination result.  

Step7: Participate in further Rounds of Selection

There are two more rounds before the final selection for admission is completed, Personal Interview and Group Discussion. Based on the three rounds of selection, applicants will be chosen for admission. 

JEMAT 2021: Application Form

The application form for JEMAT 2021 will be released via online mode on the official website- http://www.wbut.ac.in  

The interested aspirants may download the application form and fill the required details followed by the payment of the application fee to be a successful applicant. Name, address, gander, signature are a few details that are asked in the application forms. Once filled, the candidate needs to affix an attestation copy signed by the gazetted officer. Then the candidate needs to send a demand draft along with the 2 copies of the latest passport size photographs. The application can be submitted via online or offline mode.

Steps to fill JEMAT 2021 Application Form:

  • Go to the official website of MAKAUT, WB i.e wbut.ac.in
  • Click on Registration Tab or JEMAT 2021 link from the ‘Notice’ section.
  • Click on Application form→ click on Form 1-C.
  • Fill all the required information in the application form like Name, Contact No., Address, Academic Details, Gender, Category/Caste, etc.
  • Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  • After the online submission of the form, an application no. and password will be sent to your registered email ID
  • Keep your Application number and password preserved till the completion of the admission process.
  • Take a print out of the form and affix a recent passport size photograph in the specified space on it.

JEMAT 2021: Application Fee

The payment of the application fee has to be done via DD (Demand Draft) mode.

Without the late fees: Candidates belonging to general category need to make the payment of INR 800/- as application fee and those belonging to SC/ST category need to pay INR 400/-

With the late fees: Candidates belonging to general category has to pay the application fee of INR 1000/- and those belonging to SC/ST category need to pay INR 500/-

JEMAT 2021: Admit Card

JEMAT 2021 Admit cards will be issued via online mode and will be downloadable from the official website. The admit card will not be delivered to the candidates via fax or post or any other offline medium. Students will need to download the admit card from the official website by entering the details asked. JEMAT 2021 admit card is a mandatory document to carry along with the valid photo while appearing for the exam. No candidates will be permitted to enter the exam hall without the admit card. JEMAT 2021 admit cards will comprise the details about the candidate as well as the exam such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam centres, exam guidelines etc.Candidates must keep their admit card safe till the completion of the admission procedure.

Steps to download JEMAT 2021 Admit Card

  • Go to the official website and check the Menu.
  • Click on the  “JEMAT 2021” tab.
  • Click on “Download Hall Ticket”.
  • Fill in the Application ID sent via mail during the form filling.
  • Download the Admit card/ Hall Ticket displayed on the system’s screen.

JEMAT 2021: Syllabus

JEMAT 2021: Exam Pattern

JEMAT 2021: Result

The JEMAT 2021 result will be announced in the online mode in September 2021 on the official website. JEMAT 2021 results will comprise details like scores obtained by the candidate, candidate’s category, name of the programme, exam date and so on. Candidates will have to enter their application number and password on the result login page to access the JEMAT 2021 result. 

Steps to check the result:

  • Go to the official website.
  • Click on the “JEMAT 2021 Result” .
  • Enter your Application No. or Roll No. and Password.
  • Click on the “View and download” option.
  • Take a printout of “JEMAT 2021 result / Score Card” and keep it safe for future reference.

JEMAT 2021: Selection Procedure

The JEMAT 2021 selection procedure involves three stages viz. – Exam, GI and PI, Counselling. After qualifying the JEMAT written examination, the qualified candidates are passed on to the GD and PI rounds and finally the counselling round for the final selection.

Counseling for JEMAT 2021 

Students who will score up to the qualifying marks in the examination of JEMAT 2021, will be called in for the counseling process. The counseling process is to be held twice, one online and the other offline and the students will have to pay a fee of Rs. 500/- for the counseling process. The students will have to carry along a few documents while appearing for JEMAT 2021 Counselling:

IGNOU 2020 TEE Answer Booklets & Re-evaluation Now Allowed to Applicants

Students participated in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) June 2020 TEE, and December 2019 TEE exam will now be allowed to apply for the xerox copies of answer booklets. Indira Gandhi National Open University has decided to allow the students for the revaluation and re totalling of marks, they scored in these examinations.

The results of IGNOU June 2020 TEE were announced on October 1. With the upcoming facility of issuance of the photocopy of answer booklets, the students who were dissatisfied with their results can apply for the revaluation of marks scored in the term-end examinations and the photocopies of IGNOU TEE answer sheets. 

The application for the same will have to be made online on the official website of the university. Students simply need to go to the IGNOU website and click apply on the designated link. After which, a few details need to be filled, followed by the payment of the application fee and submission of the application form. 

It must be noted that the applications for revaluation and photocopies of IGNOU December 2019 TEE and IGNOU June 2020 TEE of exams comprising MCQ type questions are disallowed. 

According to the statement in the IGNOU revaluation window,  “Reevaluation and copy of Answerscripts is not available for the Following Exam for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type and conducted on OMR sheets.”

Students can apply for and get the photocopies of the answer booklets of IGNOU June TEE and IGNOU December TEE examinations if the answer copy has not been handled for Re-evaluation. Students can either first make an application for the copy of Answer Sheet, followed by an application for Re-evaluation or go for both simultaneously.

Education expenses of NEET topper Akansha Singh will be paid by Uttar Pradesh Government. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made an announcement about the disbursement of her graduation expenses. These expenses will include the expenditure of food and lodging during all the academic levels of her graduation.

Akansha Singh lives in Kushinagar district of UP and has achieved 100% score in NEET 2020 exam.  

Though Akansha was given second rank in the examination, she has been declared as top-ranked along with Soyeb Aftab who is native of Odisha state. On the direction of CM Yogi Adityanath, a letter is to be sent by the chief secretary of UP state, to the authorities concerned for the declaration of NEET 2020 ranks to declare Akansha Singh and Soyeb Aftab, both as the first rankers of NEET 2020 examination as they both have scored 720 marks out of maximum score of 720. 

Besides, personal wishes are sent from UP CM to the family members and parents of AKansha Singh, laurelled the top- scorer as an ideal for all the girls. CM Yogi Adityanath appreciated the hard -work she has made and the high perseverance she has maintained throughout her preparation. 

On the other side, Shoyeb Aftab has also created a history with a full score of 720/720 and All India Rank of 1. He is the first-ever candidate to score 100% in NEET examination. From Odisha state also, he is the first student to Top NEET. With this high score, he hopes to get admission in AIIMS New Delhi. 

NEET 2020 comprises a sum of 180 MCQ type questions for a maximum of 720 marks. Qualified candidates who have scored at least or more than NEET 2020 cut-off are considered eligible to participate in the counselling process of NEET 2020. This implies that the candidates with scores more than NTA NEET 2020 cut-off will be eligible for enrollment to state-quota seats India quota (AIQ) seats through NEET 2020 counselling. The NEET 2020 cutoff for students who belong to General Category is 147. The highest number of students who have qualified NEET 2020 are from Uttar Pradesh followed by Maharashtra.

Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association, KPPGCA has released the admit card for KMAT 2020 for the eligible candidates who applied for the examination by filling the application form and paying the prescribed application fee. The admit card has been released via online mode on the official website of KPPGCA on 27th October 2020. 

Successful candidates need to download their admit card from the official website i.e. kmatindia.com. using their login credentials.

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2020 is an entrance examination that will be conducted by KPPGCA (Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association) to offer enrollment to the qualified candidates in 189+ AICTE or University accredited Management Schools established in Bangalore and Karnataka. This year, the examination will be conducted on 29th October 2020 for admission to management institutes in the state.

According to an official statement by Raghu Sharma, Rajasthan Health Minister, approval for the additional seats in MBBS in Rajasthan has been granted. 230 additional seats have been green signalled for the MBBS programmes at four medical schools in the state. 50 additional seats will be given to the medical schools in Udaipur and Ajmer. As far as Barmer Medical College is concerned, there will be an increment of 30 seats this year. 

In comparison to last year when there was a total increment of 550 seats, seats added this year are lower. However, if taken together, the total addition in MBBS seats in the last two years reaches 880 in Rajasthan, thereby making a sum of 2830 total MBBS seats in Rajasthan, today. 

The initiation of Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar has also received approval by the National Medical Science Commission. The Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar will be started in the session 2020-21. 

Sikar is a native district and approval of a medical college in Sikar was great news for Govind Singh Dotasara, Congress State President, who expressed extreme joy through a tweet over the approval.

"The much-awaited Sikar Medical College has received the approval of the National Medical Science Commission. It is a result of the strong will power of the Congress government of the state that the Sikar people have got their right, their medical college," a tweet by Mr Dotasara.

The news highlights the commencement of first round of NEET 2020 Counselling from Tomorrow

The first round of the NEET 2020 Counselling will start from 27th of October 2020 by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The first round of seat allotment under this process will commence from tomorrow. The counselling process will be conducted only for those candidates who have qualified the NEET 2020 exam. Unqualified aspirants will not be able to take part in the same. However, the registration is mandatory for the eligible candidates to participate in the counselling. 

Registration for the first round of seat allotment needs to be done on the official website of MCC - mcc.nic.in. and will remain open till 2nd November 2020 before 5 pm. It must be noted that registration must be done before the deadlines otherwise the participation in the seat allotment process is prohibited. 

NEET 2020 registration process seeks the names of the courses and colleges preferred by the candidates that means the candidates will have to fill in their choices about the college and the course during the registration process. However, the candidates will be allowed to fill in their preference within a specific course of time i.e. from 28th October 2020 to 2nd November 2020, after that the preferences will be frozen. 

Followed by the 2nd round of seat allotment, details about which will be notified very soon, the 1st round will be conducted on 3rd and 4th November and the results of the same will be declared on 5th November 2020. Here is the process to register for the counselling process of NEET 2020:

NEET counselling 2020: Online registration process

Step 1: Go to the official website of MCC i.e. mcc.nic.in.

Step 2: Find and click on the ‘UG Medical Counselling’ link available on the homepage.

Step 3: Click on ‘New Registration’.

Step 4: Save your new login ID and password that will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Click on ‘Candidate Login’ and enter your new login credentials.

Step 6: Enter all the details asked.

Step 7: You will get a registration slip after filling all the details. 

Step 8: Make a payment of the registration fee. 

The registration fee needs to be paid before the deadline and the due date for the payment of the registration fee for NEET 2020 Counselling's first round is 2nd November 2020.
