About IGNOU OPEN MAT 2021 

The IGNOU OPEN MAT examination is a postgraduate admission test for MBA courses. This is a national level admission test which is offered by the Indira Gandhi National Open University at the School of Management Studies. The admission test is conducted not once but twice a year, once in January and then again in July, though every examination marks are valid for one entire year, that means the January exam marks will still be valid for July admissions and similarly the July examination results will be valid for admissions of January in the next year. This admission test will provide admission in the degree of distance learning courses of MBA for IGNOU.

Eligibility Criteria for IGNOU OPEN MAT 2021 

  • There is no age limit to apply for admissions in IGNOU OPEN MAT 2021 examination.  
  • Candidates must be a graduate with a bachelor's degree or even a master’s degree from a recognized educational institution, where he/she should have scored at least 50% aggregate marks. However, in the case of an SC/ST applicant, the minimum aggregate marks requirement is 45%.  
  • Candidates who have completed their graduation in an off-school degree such as Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy, Company Secretary can also apply for the IGNOU OPEN MAT 2021 examination.

IGNOU OPEN MAT 2021: Application Process

Step1: Applicants need to apply for the IGNOU OPEN MAT 2021 exam online, by filling out the admissions form thoroughly and attaching all the necessary documents alongside very carefully online.  

Step2: There is an admission fee that needs to be paid, by each applicant through an online transaction, and once the fee is paid, no correction is permissible in the application form. 

The applicants should download and print the application form and application fee receipt with them carefully. 

Step3: Every applicant who has successfully registered will have to download their admit cards that will be released on the institute website. The admit cards for a student who have applied successfully tend to appear almost 10 days before the exam.  

 Step4: Applicants must choose their examination centers, there are more than 500 test centers all over India that the candidates can choose from.  

Step5: Taking the admit card along with themselves the applicants will have to appear for the IGNOU OPEN MAT 2021 examination at the chosen center.  

Step6: Wait for the examination results to be released on the institute’s website and applicants should check for their scorecard to see their examination result.  

 IGNOU OPENMAT 2021: Application Form

To apply for the examination, the interested and eligible candidates need to fill the application form for the exam and submit the same before the last date. The candidates need to fill the application form via online mode on the NTA website.

A printed copy of confirmation page testimonies the confirmation of registration even when there are some technical glitches. 

IGNOU OPENMAT 2021: Application Fee

The application fee is to be paid via online using Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking facility. Application fee for candidates who belong to general or OBC category is INR 800/- whereas that for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/EWS category is INR 600/-.

IGNOU OPENMAT 2021: Admit Card

IGNOU OPENMAT 2021 Admit cards will be issued via online mode and will be downloadable from the official website of NTA. The admit card will not be delivered to the candidates via fax or post or any other offline medium. Students will need to download the admit card from the official website by entering the details asked. IGNOU OPENMAT 2021 admit card is a mandatory document to carry along with the valid photo while appearing for the exam. No candidates will be permitted to enter the exam hall without the admit card. IGNOU OPENMAT 2021 admit cards will comprise the details about the candidate as well as the exam such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam centres, exam guidelines etc. Candidates must keep their admit card safe till the completion of the admission procedure.

IGNOU OPENMAT 2021: Exam-pattern

IGNOU OPENMAT 2021 is an online examination of a duration of three hours to attempt a total of 180 minutes. The candidates need to attempt a total of 200 MCQ type questions of 1 mark each. The language medium of the examination is english. Negative marking is not applicable to the examination. 

IGNOU OPENMAT 2021: Result

The IGNOU OPENMAT 2021 result will be announced in the online mode on the official website- ignouexams.nta.ac.in The result comprises details like scores obtained by the candidate, candidate’s category, name of the programme, exam date and so on. Candidates need to enter their enrollment ID/email ID and password on the result login page to access the result. Based on candidates’ performance, the qualified candidates will be called for further rounds of selection.

IGNOU OPENMAT 2021: Answer Key 

The IGNOU OPEN MAT 2021 exam question paper is uploaded on the website of the institution by the National Testing Agency (NAT), and along with the question paper, the answer key of the question paper is also uploaded in a file on the institute’s website itself.  

However, if candidates find an answer from the answer key draft uploaded to be wrong, they can challenge the uploaded answer from the official website of the institution. The procedure to challenge the answer key will be: 

  • Firstly, the candidate will have to login on the official website using his/her date of birth and security pin.  
  • Secondly, they will see an option of ‘CLICK HERE FOR CHALLENGES REGARDING ANSWER KEY’ on the official website, they need to go to that link  
  • Third, the candidate will have to mark the question of which they want to challenge the answer key and mark that question as ‘This question is incorrect’. 
  • Fourth, they will have to enter what they think is the correct answer in a file and upload that file in the next step.  
  • Fifth, there is a fee of Rs.1000/- charged for every question challenged for its answer. That candidate must make the payment for the number of answer keys they have challenged online itself and submit the application. 
  • Lastly, if your answer is found to be correct then your fee will be refunded completely.

Students participated in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) June 2020 TEE, and December 2019 TEE exam will now be allowed to apply for the xerox copies of answer booklets. Indira Gandhi National Open University has decided to allow the students for the revaluation and re totalling of marks, they scored in these examinations.

The results of IGNOU June 2020 TEE were announced on October 1. With the upcoming facility of issuance of the photocopy of answer booklets, the students who were dissatisfied with their results can apply for the revaluation of marks scored in the term-end examinations and the photocopies of IGNOU TEE answer sheets. 

The application for the same will have to be made online on the official website of the university. Students simply need to go to the IGNOU website and click apply on the designated link. After which, a few details need to be filled, followed by the payment of the application fee and submission of the application form. 

It must be noted that the applications for revaluation and photocopies of IGNOU December 2019 TEE and IGNOU June 2020 TEE of exams comprising MCQ type questions are disallowed. 

According to the statement in the IGNOU revaluation window,  “Reevaluation and copy of Answerscripts is not available for the Following Exam for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type and conducted on OMR sheets.”

Students can apply for and get the photocopies of the answer booklets of IGNOU June TEE and IGNOU December TEE examinations if the answer copy has not been handled for Re-evaluation. Students can either first make an application for the copy of Answer Sheet, followed by an application for Re-evaluation or go for both simultaneously.

Education expenses of NEET topper Akansha Singh will be paid by Uttar Pradesh Government. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made an announcement about the disbursement of her graduation expenses. These expenses will include the expenditure of food and lodging during all the academic levels of her graduation.

Akansha Singh lives in Kushinagar district of UP and has achieved 100% score in NEET 2020 exam.  

Though Akansha was given second rank in the examination, she has been declared as top-ranked along with Soyeb Aftab who is native of Odisha state. On the direction of CM Yogi Adityanath, a letter is to be sent by the chief secretary of UP state, to the authorities concerned for the declaration of NEET 2020 ranks to declare Akansha Singh and Soyeb Aftab, both as the first rankers of NEET 2020 examination as they both have scored 720 marks out of maximum score of 720. 

Besides, personal wishes are sent from UP CM to the family members and parents of AKansha Singh, laurelled the top- scorer as an ideal for all the girls. CM Yogi Adityanath appreciated the hard -work she has made and the high perseverance she has maintained throughout her preparation. 

On the other side, Shoyeb Aftab has also created a history with a full score of 720/720 and All India Rank of 1. He is the first-ever candidate to score 100% in NEET examination. From Odisha state also, he is the first student to Top NEET. With this high score, he hopes to get admission in AIIMS New Delhi. 

NEET 2020 comprises a sum of 180 MCQ type questions for a maximum of 720 marks. Qualified candidates who have scored at least or more than NEET 2020 cut-off are considered eligible to participate in the counselling process of NEET 2020. This implies that the candidates with scores more than NTA NEET 2020 cut-off will be eligible for enrollment to state-quota seats India quota (AIQ) seats through NEET 2020 counselling. The NEET 2020 cutoff for students who belong to General Category is 147. The highest number of students who have qualified NEET 2020 are from Uttar Pradesh followed by Maharashtra.

Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association, KPPGCA has released the admit card for KMAT 2020 for the eligible candidates who applied for the examination by filling the application form and paying the prescribed application fee. The admit card has been released via online mode on the official website of KPPGCA on 27th October 2020. 

Successful candidates need to download their admit card from the official website i.e. kmatindia.com. using their login credentials.

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2020 is an entrance examination that will be conducted by KPPGCA (Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association) to offer enrollment to the qualified candidates in 189+ AICTE or University accredited Management Schools established in Bangalore and Karnataka. This year, the examination will be conducted on 29th October 2020 for admission to management institutes in the state.

According to an official statement by Raghu Sharma, Rajasthan Health Minister, approval for the additional seats in MBBS in Rajasthan has been granted. 230 additional seats have been green signalled for the MBBS programmes at four medical schools in the state. 50 additional seats will be given to the medical schools in Udaipur and Ajmer. As far as Barmer Medical College is concerned, there will be an increment of 30 seats this year. 

In comparison to last year when there was a total increment of 550 seats, seats added this year are lower. However, if taken together, the total addition in MBBS seats in the last two years reaches 880 in Rajasthan, thereby making a sum of 2830 total MBBS seats in Rajasthan, today. 

The initiation of Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar has also received approval by the National Medical Science Commission. The Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar will be started in the session 2020-21. 

Sikar is a native district and approval of a medical college in Sikar was great news for Govind Singh Dotasara, Congress State President, who expressed extreme joy through a tweet over the approval.

"The much-awaited Sikar Medical College has received the approval of the National Medical Science Commission. It is a result of the strong will power of the Congress government of the state that the Sikar people have got their right, their medical college," a tweet by Mr Dotasara.

The news highlights the commencement of first round of NEET 2020 Counselling from Tomorrow

The first round of the NEET 2020 Counselling will start from 27th of October 2020 by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The first round of seat allotment under this process will commence from tomorrow. The counselling process will be conducted only for those candidates who have qualified the NEET 2020 exam. Unqualified aspirants will not be able to take part in the same. However, the registration is mandatory for the eligible candidates to participate in the counselling. 

Registration for the first round of seat allotment needs to be done on the official website of MCC - mcc.nic.in. and will remain open till 2nd November 2020 before 5 pm. It must be noted that registration must be done before the deadlines otherwise the participation in the seat allotment process is prohibited. 

NEET 2020 registration process seeks the names of the courses and colleges preferred by the candidates that means the candidates will have to fill in their choices about the college and the course during the registration process. However, the candidates will be allowed to fill in their preference within a specific course of time i.e. from 28th October 2020 to 2nd November 2020, after that the preferences will be frozen. 

Followed by the 2nd round of seat allotment, details about which will be notified very soon, the 1st round will be conducted on 3rd and 4th November and the results of the same will be declared on 5th November 2020. Here is the process to register for the counselling process of NEET 2020:

Step 1: Go to the official website of MCC i.e. mcc.nic.in.

Step 2: Find and click on the ‘UG Medical Counselling’ link available on the homepage.

Step 3: Click on ‘New Registration’.

Step 4: Save your new login ID and password that will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Click on ‘Candidate Login’ and enter your new login credentials.

Step 6: Enter all the details asked.

Step 7: You will get a registration slip after filling all the details. 

Step 8: Make a payment of the registration fee. 

The registration fee needs to be paid before the deadline and the due date for the payment of the registration fee for NEET 2020 Counselling's first round is 2nd November 2020.
