IBPS RRB 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:

  • The aspirants must be a citizen of India
  • The aspirants can be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
  • The aspirants can be a Tibetan Refugee who shifted to India before January 1, 1962, intending to permanently settle to India.
  • The aspirants can be of Indian origin who shifted from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

Age limit (as on June 1st):

  • For Office Assistant: The upper and lower age limit of the candidate is 18 and 28 years.
  • For Officer Scale I: The lower age of the candidate is 18 years and the upper age limit is 30 years.
  • For Officer Scale-II: The lower and upper age limit is 21 years and 32 years, respectively.
  • For Officer Scale-III: The lower and upper age limit is 21 years and 40 years, respectively.

Qualification:

  • For Office Assistant and Officer Scale, I (Assistant Manager): The aspirants should be bachelor’s degree holders in any stream or equivalent.
  • Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer (Manager)): The aspirants should be bachelor’s degree holders in any stream or equivalent with at least 50% marks. Experience of at least 2 years as an officer in a Financial Institution or Bank is a must.
  • Officer Scale-II (Specialist Officers (Manager)):
    • IT Officer: The aspirants should hold a bachelor’s degree holder in Electronics/ Communication/ Information Technology/ Computer Science or equivalent with at least 50% scores in aggregate.
    • CA: Certified Associate (CA) from ICAI is required.
    • Law Officer: Degree in Law or equivalent with at least 50%score in aggregate is required.
    • Treasury Manager: CA or MBA in Finance degree is a must.
    • Marketing Officer: MBA in Marketing is a must.
    • Agricultural Officer: Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture/ Agriculture/ Dairy/ Forestry/ Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Pisciculture/ Agricultural Engineering or its equivalent with at least 50% scores in aggregate is required.
    • 1-year experience in the related stream is required, for law professionals, the period of experience required extends to 2 years.
    • Officer Scale III (Senior Manager): A Bachelor’s degree in any stream or its equivalent with at least 50% score in aggregate is required with an experience of at least 5 working years at a post of officer in a Financial Institution or Bank.

IBPS RRB 2020: Selection Process

The selection process includes an array of steps that starts with online registration, continues with filling of an application form, paying the application fee, etc and finishes at final selection. 

Online registration: Interested candidates need to register themselves first and fill IBPS RRB application form in an online mode on the official website of IBPS to appear for the examination. Registration is done by providing the valid basic details on the official website. After registration, a user ID and password is generated. Using these login credentials, the interested applicant needs to fill the application form, upload the required documents and pay the application fee to be a successful applicant. 

Steps to apply for IBPS RRB 2020 online

  • Go to the IBPS’s official website 
  • Complete the registration by entering the basic details required. 
  • After the registration, save your registration number and password sent on your registered email id. 
  • Use these login credentials to login and fill the application form.
  • Upload the scanned images of documents, thumb impression of your left hand and signature.
  • Check the application form 
  • Pay the application fees
  • Submit the application form

The application fee of INR 850 and INR 175 for candidates belonging to General and OBC and SC/ST/PWD categories, respectively. 

IBPS RRB 2020: Admit Card

Different admit cards are issued for preliminary exam, main exam and interviews. The admit card is made available online on the official website of IBPS. Candidates need to download the admit cards from the official website by entering the registration number or roll no. and DOB or password. Any hard copy of the admit card is not posted to the candidates, so students have to download the same as without this entry to the examination hall is not permitted. 

IBPS RRB 2020:Result 

IBPS announces the result of its examination in online mode on the official website. To access the result, participants need to login to the official website using the registration number/roll number and DOB/password. The scorecard and IBPS RRB cut off are announced after the announcement of the result. 

IBPS RRB 2020: Interview 

Based on the performance in the main exams, shortlisted candidates are called for the Interview round. The Interview is conducted for Officers Scale I, II & III by nodal Regional Rural banks in association with NABARD. Candidates need to qualify the interview by obtaining the qualifying marks, out of the maximum marks of 100, as fixed by the examination authority. 

IBPS RRB 2020: Final Selection

For the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose), provisional allotment of candidates is done based on their scores in the mains exam only. The final selection for Officers Scale I post relies on the performance in the mains exam and interview. Provisional allotment to the post of Officers Scale II and III depends on the performance of candidates in the single-level examination and interview.

IGNOU 2020 TEE Answer Booklets & Re-evaluation Now Allowed to Applicants

Students participated in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) June 2020 TEE, and December 2019 TEE exam will now be allowed to apply for the xerox copies of answer booklets. Indira Gandhi National Open University has decided to allow the students for the revaluation and re totalling of marks, they scored in these examinations.

The results of IGNOU June 2020 TEE were announced on October 1. With the upcoming facility of issuance of the photocopy of answer booklets, the students who were dissatisfied with their results can apply for the revaluation of marks scored in the term-end examinations and the photocopies of IGNOU TEE answer sheets. 

The application for the same will have to be made online on the official website of the university. Students simply need to go to the IGNOU website and click apply on the designated link. After which, a few details need to be filled, followed by the payment of the application fee and submission of the application form. 

It must be noted that the applications for revaluation and photocopies of IGNOU December 2019 TEE and IGNOU June 2020 TEE of exams comprising MCQ type questions are disallowed. 

According to the statement in the IGNOU revaluation window,  “Reevaluation and copy of Answerscripts is not available for the Following Exam for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type and conducted on OMR sheets.”

Students can apply for and get the photocopies of the answer booklets of IGNOU June TEE and IGNOU December TEE examinations if the answer copy has not been handled for Re-evaluation. Students can either first make an application for the copy of Answer Sheet, followed by an application for Re-evaluation or go for both simultaneously.

Education expenses of NEET topper Akansha Singh will be paid by Uttar Pradesh Government. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made an announcement about the disbursement of her graduation expenses. These expenses will include the expenditure of food and lodging during all the academic levels of her graduation.

Akansha Singh lives in Kushinagar district of UP and has achieved 100% score in NEET 2020 exam.  

Though Akansha was given second rank in the examination, she has been declared as top-ranked along with Soyeb Aftab who is native of Odisha state. On the direction of CM Yogi Adityanath, a letter is to be sent by the chief secretary of UP state, to the authorities concerned for the declaration of NEET 2020 ranks to declare Akansha Singh and Soyeb Aftab, both as the first rankers of NEET 2020 examination as they both have scored 720 marks out of maximum score of 720. 

Besides, personal wishes are sent from UP CM to the family members and parents of AKansha Singh, laurelled the top- scorer as an ideal for all the girls. CM Yogi Adityanath appreciated the hard -work she has made and the high perseverance she has maintained throughout her preparation. 

On the other side, Shoyeb Aftab has also created a history with a full score of 720/720 and All India Rank of 1. He is the first-ever candidate to score 100% in NEET examination. From Odisha state also, he is the first student to Top NEET. With this high score, he hopes to get admission in AIIMS New Delhi. 

NEET 2020 comprises a sum of 180 MCQ type questions for a maximum of 720 marks. Qualified candidates who have scored at least or more than NEET 2020 cut-off are considered eligible to participate in the counselling process of NEET 2020. This implies that the candidates with scores more than NTA NEET 2020 cut-off will be eligible for enrollment to state-quota seats India quota (AIQ) seats through NEET 2020 counselling. The NEET 2020 cutoff for students who belong to General Category is 147. The highest number of students who have qualified NEET 2020 are from Uttar Pradesh followed by Maharashtra.

Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association, KPPGCA has released the admit card for KMAT 2020 for the eligible candidates who applied for the examination by filling the application form and paying the prescribed application fee. The admit card has been released via online mode on the official website of KPPGCA on 27th October 2020. 

Successful candidates need to download their admit card from the official website i.e. kmatindia.com. using their login credentials.

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2020 is an entrance examination that will be conducted by KPPGCA (Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association) to offer enrollment to the qualified candidates in 189+ AICTE or University accredited Management Schools established in Bangalore and Karnataka. This year, the examination will be conducted on 29th October 2020 for admission to management institutes in the state.

According to an official statement by Raghu Sharma, Rajasthan Health Minister, approval for the additional seats in MBBS in Rajasthan has been granted. 230 additional seats have been green signalled for the MBBS programmes at four medical schools in the state. 50 additional seats will be given to the medical schools in Udaipur and Ajmer. As far as Barmer Medical College is concerned, there will be an increment of 30 seats this year. 

In comparison to last year when there was a total increment of 550 seats, seats added this year are lower. However, if taken together, the total addition in MBBS seats in the last two years reaches 880 in Rajasthan, thereby making a sum of 2830 total MBBS seats in Rajasthan, today. 

The initiation of Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar has also received approval by the National Medical Science Commission. The Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar will be started in the session 2020-21. 

Sikar is a native district and approval of a medical college in Sikar was great news for Govind Singh Dotasara, Congress State President, who expressed extreme joy through a tweet over the approval.

"The much-awaited Sikar Medical College has received the approval of the National Medical Science Commission. It is a result of the strong will power of the Congress government of the state that the Sikar people have got their right, their medical college," a tweet by Mr Dotasara.

The news highlights the commencement of first round of NEET 2020 Counselling from Tomorrow

The first round of the NEET 2020 Counselling will start from 27th of October 2020 by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The first round of seat allotment under this process will commence from tomorrow. The counselling process will be conducted only for those candidates who have qualified the NEET 2020 exam. Unqualified aspirants will not be able to take part in the same. However, the registration is mandatory for the eligible candidates to participate in the counselling. 

Registration for the first round of seat allotment needs to be done on the official website of MCC - mcc.nic.in. and will remain open till 2nd November 2020 before 5 pm. It must be noted that registration must be done before the deadlines otherwise the participation in the seat allotment process is prohibited. 

NEET 2020 registration process seeks the names of the courses and colleges preferred by the candidates that means the candidates will have to fill in their choices about the college and the course during the registration process. However, the candidates will be allowed to fill in their preference within a specific course of time i.e. from 28th October 2020 to 2nd November 2020, after that the preferences will be frozen. 

Followed by the 2nd round of seat allotment, details about which will be notified very soon, the 1st round will be conducted on 3rd and 4th November and the results of the same will be declared on 5th November 2020. Here is the process to register for the counselling process of NEET 2020:
