Common Management Admission Test(CMAT) is an online computer-based entrance examination conducted by National Test Agency(NTA) for admissions into management courses(MBA/PGDM) in business schools across India. CMAT provides the candidate with a unique identity as well as different opportunities as none of them gets disqualified from the result. Common Management Admission Test also known as CMAT is a national-level three hour exam that acts as a base for admission into MBA/PGDM courses in over 1000 business schools scattered all over India. The CMAT question paper comprises of 100 questions on topics:-

  • Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation
  • Logical Reasoning
  • Language Comprehension
  • Current affairs

CMAT 2021 exam will be conducted on January 24 as an online computer based test from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM in 109 cities and 245 exam-centres throughout India. CMAT 2021 Exam pattern will have a total of 100 questions under 4 sections comprising 100 Multiple Choice Questions (25MCQs under each).

CMAT 2021: REGISTRATION cum APPLICATION PROCESS

Registration for CMAT 2021 will start from November 1, 2020, and the last date to register for the examination will be December 10, 2020. CMAT 2021 will take place on January 24, 2021.

Steps to register for CMAT 2021 are as follows:

  • Step 1 – Visit the official website https://cmat.nta.nic.in/
  • Step 2 – Login using your credentials and click on the registration tab
  • Step 3 -candidates will need to upload scanned copies of the photograph along with the signature. The photograph should be colored/black and white. The file size of the photograph can vary between 10 kb - 200 kb in (jpg/ jpeg) format. The signature size can vary between 4 kb - 30 kb in (jpg/ jpeg) format.
  • Step 4 – Pay the CMAT 2021 application fee amount.
  • Step 5 – Take a printout of the confirmation page and keep it for future reference.

CMAT 2021: ELIGIBILITY

For CMAT 2021 candidates must have completed their graduation from any university recognized by the government. Final year graduation students can also apply for CMAT 2021 but at the time of admission, candidates will be asked for their passing certificates. 

Age Criteria – No age restrictions.

Nationality – Only Indian Nationals.

CMAT 2021: Admit Cards

CMAT 2021 Admit cards will be issued via online mode on the official website by the National Test Agency (NTA) in the 3rd week of December 2020. The admit card will not be delivered to the candidates via fax or post or any other offline medium. Students will need to download the admit card from the official website by entering the details asked. CMAT 2021 admit card is a mandatory document to carry along with the valid photo while appearing for the exam. No candidates will be permitted to enter the exam hall without the admit card. CMAT 2021 admit cards will comprise the details about the candidate as well as the exam such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam centres, exam guidelines etc.Candidates must keep their admit card safe till the completion of the admission procedure.

CMAT 2021: CUT OFFS

Participating colleges of CMAT 2021 will be declaring the cut offs after the examination’s results. CMAT 2021 cut offs refers to the minimum score required for admission to MBA/PGDM courses offered by universities accepting CMAT scores. The cut off of CMAT 2021 will depend on various factors like total no. of seats & applicants, complexity of the question paper, past cut off trends and average marks scored by the participants in IIT JAM. 

HOW CUT OFFS ARE DECIDED?

CMAT cut off and percentiles are decided on the basis of several factors such as the difficulty level of the examination of that specific year, average passing percentage of students, etc. Each participating institute/universities will  be deciding the minimum CAT cut off marks for admissions into the following courses after reviewing the following factors:

  • Number of candidates who marked their presence in the examination.
  • Number of seats offered by the institution. 
  • Passing percentage of candidates in CMAT examination.
  • Difficulty level of CMAT examination.
  • Overall merit/performances of the CMAT qualifying candidate.

CMAT 2021: RESULT

National Testing Agency (NTA) will notify the results for CMAT 2021 through online mode on the official website in the first week of February alongside the answer key and all India merit list. All the candidates will need to check the result by filling their login details and they will be able to access their merit ranks or scorecard. Candidates will get admissions into the management programmes as per the academic performance in the test, based on which they will be invited to participate in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

 

CMAT 2021: SELECTION PROCESS

The selection process of CMAT 2021 will be in three different rounds Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). candidates who have qualified in CMAT 2021 will be appearing for these selection rounds. These applicants will be shortlisted by the participating colleges to take part in the CMAT 2021 selection procedure.

Written Ability Test (WAT):

In this round candidates will be tested for their writing skill. This test is a pen paper based test and is conducted between a time span of 15-30 minutes.

Group Discussion(GD):

Group Discussion also known as GD which is a part of the CMAT 2021 selection process, where applicants will be distributed into a group of 8 to 10 and they will be assigned a particular topic. The time duration of the GD round will be 5-10 minutes and candidates will be assessed on these few parameters:-

  • Conversation Skills
  • Participation Level
  • Managerial Skills
  • Initiation Skill
  • Confidence Level
  • Closure Skills
  • Negotiation Skills

 Personal Interview (PI):

In this round candidates will be appearing before the administration.This round will last for 15-20 minutes, in this round candidates will be getting a topic and will be discussing about the pros and cons as well as about general criterias.

IGNOU 2020 TEE Answer Booklets & Re-evaluation Now Allowed to Applicants

Students participated in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) June 2020 TEE, and December 2019 TEE exam will now be allowed to apply for the xerox copies of answer booklets. Indira Gandhi National Open University has decided to allow the students for the revaluation and re totalling of marks, they scored in these examinations.

The results of IGNOU June 2020 TEE were announced on October 1. With the upcoming facility of issuance of the photocopy of answer booklets, the students who were dissatisfied with their results can apply for the revaluation of marks scored in the term-end examinations and the photocopies of IGNOU TEE answer sheets. 

The application for the same will have to be made online on the official website of the university. Students simply need to go to the IGNOU website and click apply on the designated link. After which, a few details need to be filled, followed by the payment of the application fee and submission of the application form. 

It must be noted that the applications for revaluation and photocopies of IGNOU December 2019 TEE and IGNOU June 2020 TEE of exams comprising MCQ type questions are disallowed. 

According to the statement in the IGNOU revaluation window,  “Reevaluation and copy of Answerscripts is not available for the Following Exam for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type and conducted on OMR sheets.”

Students can apply for and get the photocopies of the answer booklets of IGNOU June TEE and IGNOU December TEE examinations if the answer copy has not been handled for Re-evaluation. Students can either first make an application for the copy of Answer Sheet, followed by an application for Re-evaluation or go for both simultaneously.

Education expenses of NEET topper Akansha Singh will be paid by Uttar Pradesh Government. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made an announcement about the disbursement of her graduation expenses. These expenses will include the expenditure of food and lodging during all the academic levels of her graduation.

Akansha Singh lives in Kushinagar district of UP and has achieved 100% score in NEET 2020 exam.  

Though Akansha was given second rank in the examination, she has been declared as top-ranked along with Soyeb Aftab who is native of Odisha state. On the direction of CM Yogi Adityanath, a letter is to be sent by the chief secretary of UP state, to the authorities concerned for the declaration of NEET 2020 ranks to declare Akansha Singh and Soyeb Aftab, both as the first rankers of NEET 2020 examination as they both have scored 720 marks out of maximum score of 720. 

Besides, personal wishes are sent from UP CM to the family members and parents of AKansha Singh, laurelled the top- scorer as an ideal for all the girls. CM Yogi Adityanath appreciated the hard -work she has made and the high perseverance she has maintained throughout her preparation. 

On the other side, Shoyeb Aftab has also created a history with a full score of 720/720 and All India Rank of 1. He is the first-ever candidate to score 100% in NEET examination. From Odisha state also, he is the first student to Top NEET. With this high score, he hopes to get admission in AIIMS New Delhi. 

NEET 2020 comprises a sum of 180 MCQ type questions for a maximum of 720 marks. Qualified candidates who have scored at least or more than NEET 2020 cut-off are considered eligible to participate in the counselling process of NEET 2020. This implies that the candidates with scores more than NTA NEET 2020 cut-off will be eligible for enrollment to state-quota seats India quota (AIQ) seats through NEET 2020 counselling. The NEET 2020 cutoff for students who belong to General Category is 147. The highest number of students who have qualified NEET 2020 are from Uttar Pradesh followed by Maharashtra.

Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association, KPPGCA has released the admit card for KMAT 2020 for the eligible candidates who applied for the examination by filling the application form and paying the prescribed application fee. The admit card has been released via online mode on the official website of KPPGCA on 27th October 2020. 

Successful candidates need to download their admit card from the official website i.e. kmatindia.com. using their login credentials.

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2020 is an entrance examination that will be conducted by KPPGCA (Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association) to offer enrollment to the qualified candidates in 189+ AICTE or University accredited Management Schools established in Bangalore and Karnataka. This year, the examination will be conducted on 29th October 2020 for admission to management institutes in the state.

According to an official statement by Raghu Sharma, Rajasthan Health Minister, approval for the additional seats in MBBS in Rajasthan has been granted. 230 additional seats have been green signalled for the MBBS programmes at four medical schools in the state. 50 additional seats will be given to the medical schools in Udaipur and Ajmer. As far as Barmer Medical College is concerned, there will be an increment of 30 seats this year. 

In comparison to last year when there was a total increment of 550 seats, seats added this year are lower. However, if taken together, the total addition in MBBS seats in the last two years reaches 880 in Rajasthan, thereby making a sum of 2830 total MBBS seats in Rajasthan, today. 

The initiation of Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar has also received approval by the National Medical Science Commission. The Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar will be started in the session 2020-21. 

Sikar is a native district and approval of a medical college in Sikar was great news for Govind Singh Dotasara, Congress State President, who expressed extreme joy through a tweet over the approval.

"The much-awaited Sikar Medical College has received the approval of the National Medical Science Commission. It is a result of the strong will power of the Congress government of the state that the Sikar people have got their right, their medical college," a tweet by Mr Dotasara.

The news highlights the commencement of first round of NEET 2020 Counselling from Tomorrow

The first round of the NEET 2020 Counselling will start from 27th of October 2020 by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The first round of seat allotment under this process will commence from tomorrow. The counselling process will be conducted only for those candidates who have qualified the NEET 2020 exam. Unqualified aspirants will not be able to take part in the same. However, the registration is mandatory for the eligible candidates to participate in the counselling. 

Registration for the first round of seat allotment needs to be done on the official website of MCC - mcc.nic.in. and will remain open till 2nd November 2020 before 5 pm. It must be noted that registration must be done before the deadlines otherwise the participation in the seat allotment process is prohibited. 

NEET 2020 registration process seeks the names of the courses and colleges preferred by the candidates that means the candidates will have to fill in their choices about the college and the course during the registration process. However, the candidates will be allowed to fill in their preference within a specific course of time i.e. from 28th October 2020 to 2nd November 2020, after that the preferences will be frozen. 

Followed by the 2nd round of seat allotment, details about which will be notified very soon, the 1st round will be conducted on 3rd and 4th November and the results of the same will be declared on 5th November 2020. Here is the process to register for the counselling process of NEET 2020:

NEET counselling 2020: Online registration process

Step 1: Go to the official website of MCC i.e. mcc.nic.in.

Step 2: Find and click on the ‘UG Medical Counselling’ link available on the homepage.

Step 3: Click on ‘New Registration’.

Step 4: Save your new login ID and password that will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Click on ‘Candidate Login’ and enter your new login credentials.

Step 6: Enter all the details asked.

Step 7: You will get a registration slip after filling all the details. 

Step 8: Make a payment of the registration fee. 

The registration fee needs to be paid before the deadline and the due date for the payment of the registration fee for NEET 2020 Counselling's first round is 2nd November 2020.
