IELTS 2020 Application Fee:

The payment for the Application fee can be made via offline mode through a cash deposit at the post office as well as online mode using debit/credit card/net banking. The application fee according to the categories are as follows:

AILET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

* Applicants appearing for the qualifying exams.

PG Law 

* Qualification with at least 55% score in LLB or an equivalent degree programme (for general category).

* Qualification with at least 50% score in the final year of LLB or an equivalent degree programme (for SC/ST category).

* Applicants appearing for the final year LLB exam.


* LLM degree holder from any recognised university with at least  55% (for general category) or 50% (for SC/ST) in the qualifying degree examination. 

* Law degree + Master degree holder (like MPhil in Social Sciences/ Humanities) with at least 55% marks from any recognised university. Note: These applicants must have done research work in areas related to any discipline of law along with special emphasis on topics such as Public Policy of Law.

AILET 2020 Admission Process

The admission process of NLU Delhi through AILET is as under:

Step 1: Online Registration and Application

* Online registration on the NLU Delhi’s official website- https://nludelhi.ac.in 

* Fill the application form by entering personal, academic and other required information.  

* Upload the scanned copies of documents required and passport size recent photographs. 

* Pay the Application fee, select the preferred examination centre and finally submit the Application form online.

Step 2: Issuance of admit cards

The admit cards are issued by the university to the successfully registered candidates who applied before the late date of application. The admit card is the examination hall ticket with crucial information about the examinee, test centre and exam.  The admit card of AILET 2020 will be released online in the second week of July 2020 on the official website of NLU, Delhi.

Step 3: Taking the Exam

The examination needs to be taken by the examinee at the assigned test centres as prescribed on their admit card of AILET. The candidate must appear at the examination centre along with the admit card otherwise he/she will not be allowed to write the test.

Step 4: Results Announcement

AILET results are announced by the university within a few weeks of the date on which exam took place. The scorecard of the successfully qualified candidates will showcase the All India Rank, section-wise scores along with the overall marks. 

Step 5: Counselling based on the rank-cum-merit list 

The counselling is conducted by the university via offline mode for the candidates who have qualified the AILET as per the cut off marks.Based on the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) scores and category-wise merit list, the National Law University (NLU) Delhi will conduct the AILET 2020 counselling after the declaration of the result to issue the admission letters to the eligible candidates.

A. The Admit Card for AILET 2020 will be released by the university in the second week of July 2020.

Q. Are we allowed to carry the digital copy for our admit card for AILET 2020 while appearing for the exam?

A. No, you are not allowed to carry the digital copy of AILET 2020 Admit Card and you must download the admit card and carry its print out to appear for the examination.

Q. What is the marking scheme for AILET 2020?

A. The question paper of AILET 2020 will carry 150 objective type questions with negative marking scheme. Each question will be of one mark which will be awarded for each right attempt, however, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect attempt.

Q. I have applied for CLAT 2020. Do I also have to appear for AILET 2020 for enrollment to NLU Delhi?

A. Yes, if you wish to seek admissions to law programmes offered by NLU Delhi, you will have to apply for AILET 2020 and appear for the examination as the university does not accept any other entrance test other than AILET.

Students participated in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) June 2020 TEE, and December 2019 TEE exam will now be allowed to apply for the xerox copies of answer booklets. Indira Gandhi National Open University has decided to allow the students for the revaluation and re totalling of marks, they scored in these examinations.

The results of IGNOU June 2020 TEE were announced on October 1. With the upcoming facility of issuance of the photocopy of answer booklets, the students who were dissatisfied with their results can apply for the revaluation of marks scored in the term-end examinations and the photocopies of IGNOU TEE answer sheets. 

The application for the same will have to be made online on the official website of the university. Students simply need to go to the IGNOU website and click apply on the designated link. After which, a few details need to be filled, followed by the payment of the application fee and submission of the application form. 

It must be noted that the applications for revaluation and photocopies of IGNOU December 2019 TEE and IGNOU June 2020 TEE of exams comprising MCQ type questions are disallowed. 

According to the statement in the IGNOU revaluation window,  “Reevaluation and copy of Answerscripts is not available for the Following Exam for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type and conducted on OMR sheets.”

Students can apply for and get the photocopies of the answer booklets of IGNOU June TEE and IGNOU December TEE examinations if the answer copy has not been handled for Re-evaluation. Students can either first make an application for the copy of Answer Sheet, followed by an application for Re-evaluation or go for both simultaneously.

Education expenses of NEET topper Akansha Singh will be paid by Uttar Pradesh Government. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made an announcement about the disbursement of her graduation expenses. These expenses will include the expenditure of food and lodging during all the academic levels of her graduation.

Akansha Singh lives in Kushinagar district of UP and has achieved 100% score in NEET 2020 exam.  

Though Akansha was given second rank in the examination, she has been declared as top-ranked along with Soyeb Aftab who is native of Odisha state. On the direction of CM Yogi Adityanath, a letter is to be sent by the chief secretary of UP state, to the authorities concerned for the declaration of NEET 2020 ranks to declare Akansha Singh and Soyeb Aftab, both as the first rankers of NEET 2020 examination as they both have scored 720 marks out of maximum score of 720. 

Besides, personal wishes are sent from UP CM to the family members and parents of AKansha Singh, laurelled the top- scorer as an ideal for all the girls. CM Yogi Adityanath appreciated the hard -work she has made and the high perseverance she has maintained throughout her preparation. 

On the other side, Shoyeb Aftab has also created a history with a full score of 720/720 and All India Rank of 1. He is the first-ever candidate to score 100% in NEET examination. From Odisha state also, he is the first student to Top NEET. With this high score, he hopes to get admission in AIIMS New Delhi. 

NEET 2020 comprises a sum of 180 MCQ type questions for a maximum of 720 marks. Qualified candidates who have scored at least or more than NEET 2020 cut-off are considered eligible to participate in the counselling process of NEET 2020. This implies that the candidates with scores more than NTA NEET 2020 cut-off will be eligible for enrollment to state-quota seats India quota (AIQ) seats through NEET 2020 counselling. The NEET 2020 cutoff for students who belong to General Category is 147. The highest number of students who have qualified NEET 2020 are from Uttar Pradesh followed by Maharashtra.

Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association, KPPGCA has released the admit card for KMAT 2020 for the eligible candidates who applied for the examination by filling the application form and paying the prescribed application fee. The admit card has been released via online mode on the official website of KPPGCA on 27th October 2020. 

Successful candidates need to download their admit card from the official website i.e. kmatindia.com. using their login credentials.

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2020 is an entrance examination that will be conducted by KPPGCA (Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association) to offer enrollment to the qualified candidates in 189+ AICTE or University accredited Management Schools established in Bangalore and Karnataka. This year, the examination will be conducted on 29th October 2020 for admission to management institutes in the state.

According to an official statement by Raghu Sharma, Rajasthan Health Minister, approval for the additional seats in MBBS in Rajasthan has been granted. 230 additional seats have been green signalled for the MBBS programmes at four medical schools in the state. 50 additional seats will be given to the medical schools in Udaipur and Ajmer. As far as Barmer Medical College is concerned, there will be an increment of 30 seats this year. 

In comparison to last year when there was a total increment of 550 seats, seats added this year are lower. However, if taken together, the total addition in MBBS seats in the last two years reaches 880 in Rajasthan, thereby making a sum of 2830 total MBBS seats in Rajasthan, today. 

The initiation of Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar has also received approval by the National Medical Science Commission. The Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar will be started in the session 2020-21. 

Sikar is a native district and approval of a medical college in Sikar was great news for Govind Singh Dotasara, Congress State President, who expressed extreme joy through a tweet over the approval.

"The much-awaited Sikar Medical College has received the approval of the National Medical Science Commission. It is a result of the strong will power of the Congress government of the state that the Sikar people have got their right, their medical college," a tweet by Mr Dotasara.

The first round of the NEET 2020 Counselling will start from 27th of October 2020 by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The first round of seat allotment under this process will commence from tomorrow. The counselling process will be conducted only for those candidates who have qualified the NEET 2020 exam. Unqualified aspirants will not be able to take part in the same. However, the registration is mandatory for the eligible candidates to participate in the counselling. 

Registration for the first round of seat allotment needs to be done on the official website of MCC - mcc.nic.in. and will remain open till 2nd November 2020 before 5 pm. It must be noted that registration must be done before the deadlines otherwise the participation in the seat allotment process is prohibited. 

NEET 2020 registration process seeks the names of the courses and colleges preferred by the candidates that means the candidates will have to fill in their choices about the college and the course during the registration process. However, the candidates will be allowed to fill in their preference within a specific course of time i.e. from 28th October 2020 to 2nd November 2020, after that the preferences will be frozen. 

Followed by the 2nd round of seat allotment, details about which will be notified very soon, the 1st round will be conducted on 3rd and 4th November and the results of the same will be declared on 5th November 2020. Here is the process to register for the counselling process of NEET 2020:

Step 7: You will get a registration slip after filling all the details.
